Teaching activities and commitment
Teaching and research activities at renowned institutions with many years of experience in the field of strategic management and corporate governance.
From 1991 to 2007, I was a member of the founding team of lecturers at the St. Gallen Management Program and the St. Gallen Management & Business School. There I taught strategic management and leadership in executive and master's programs for senior and top management and trained thousands of executives.
During my time at AIM Mannheim from 1997 to 2002, I was part of the international exchange program D-USA at DePaul University Chicago and taught international management there.
In 1993, Prof. Dr. Hans H. Hinterhuber and Prof. Dr. Richard Hammer hired me as a lecturer for Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship for a new university course at the University of Innsbruck. This was the precursor to the spin-off of the MCI 25 years ago. As the Entrepreneurial School®, the MCI positions itself at the interface between university, private university, Grande École, business school, university of applied sciences and business. I have been teaching entrepreneurship and strategy there since it was founded.
Prof. Dr. Richard Hammer brought me to the University of Salzburg in 1997, where I helped to set up the new Business & Law course. I have been an honorary professor of Business & Law at the Faculty of Law at the University of Salzburg since 2005.
